Tuosist has the most spectacular scenery to be found anywhere in Ireland, with views over the Atlantic Ocean and the Kenmare Bay. Across from the Ring of Kerry and the majestic mountain range of the Magillicuddy Reeks. The Parish of Tuosist is the County Kerry section of the Beara Peninsula. Starting about one mile outside the town of Kenmare, it stretches west along the coast of Kenmare Bay for 23 miles to the County Cork border, just before the village of Ardgroom. The Caha Mountains mark it's southern boundaries.
